PRIVACY POLICY
This page explains what personal and health information we collect, why we need it, how we protect it and the choices you have.
Marvelle Aesthetics is a nurse-led clinic in Stittsville, Ottawa. As a Registered Nurse, I am a health information custodian under Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 (PHIPA). I am responsible for the personal information you share with the clinic, and I am your contact for any privacy question.

Only what we need to care for you safely:
We never sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
We collect, use and share your information with your consent, or as PHIPA allows or requires. You can withdraw your consent at any time by telling us. We will explain what that means for your care. Withdrawing consent does not affect records we are required to keep.
With your consent, photos may be taken for your chart, to plan treatment and compare results. They are stored securely with your record. They are never used on this website, on social media or anywhere public unless you give separate written consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Please do not include health information in the online booking notes. We cover that privately at your consultation.
Clinical records are kept for at least 10 years after your last visit. For example, if your last visit is at age 25, your records are kept until at least age 35. They are then securely destroyed.
You can ask to see your records and ask for a copy. We respond as soon as possible and within 30 days, as PHIPA requires. If we need more time, we will tell you in writing. If you believe something in your record is wrong, you can ask us to correct it.
To make a request, contact Mark at 613-263-9996 or mark@marvelle.ca.
If your information is lost, stolen or seen by someone who should not see it, we will tell you as soon as reasonably possible and report it to the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario when required.
Please talk to us first, and we will do our best to resolve your concern. You also have the right to complain to the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario:
